I’m not sure how long this has been online, but tonight I noticed an updated Google favicon. –>
If you’re unsure of what I’m talking about, the favicon is the little icon that you see in your browser’s address bar or in the tab.
I’m assuming that the change is an effort to reinforce the branding of the Google Chrome browser which has a very similar looking application icon.
From a design perspective I have to say, well done Google!
Except for the fact that I got my stitches removed today! All ~40 of them. 😛 They just put tape on the scar for now, as extra support to make sure it doesn’t open up (boy that’d be bad).
In other news, Google changed their favicon today (or was it yesterday evening?). Well, I personally don’t care much for the new favicon. It’s a lowercase “g” instead of being uppercase.
